The trip began at Penarth Barrage. We walked all along the coast path to the Millenium Centre looking at all the sights along the way. First we saw the wonderful view of the bay and decided to take a class photo. We stopped to have some fun in the Pirate Playground. We saw the Captain Scott Memorial of the voyage to Antarctica and read some interesting facts about it. We then wandered past the Doctor Who Experience and then to the Danish Church were Roald Dahl was baptised. We stopped at 'Y Senedd' and then caught up with the bus at the Milennium Centre.
We took a little tour of the city on the way to St Fagans. We tried to spot some attractions on the way and we saw the Millennium Stadium, City Hall and the National Museum before arriving in St Fagans for part 2 which included lunch.
We wandered around St Fagans learning about all the wonderful buildings, shops and houses they had. We also went into the Cockpit and saw what it must have been like for the locals' entertainment. We capped it off by a little bit of playtime in the park before the rain came and then headed back to school.
