What is Friends of Pencaerau?
Friends of Pencaerau are a group of teachers, parents, grandparents and members of the local community who wish to help the school. Each year this group raises hundreds of pounds through fundraising events which will be spent on equipment, resources and many extras to enhance our children’s educational experience.
How you can get involved?
All parents and members of the school community are encouraged to get involved, even if they have a small amount of time available. You may contribute as much or as little as you wish from organising events to having half an hour to spare to help wrap gifts. We are always looking for new and fresh ideas to enhance our fundraising and all suggestions are very welcome. You can also help by letting us know if you have any contacts or skills we could use to benefit the school.
Friends of Pencaerau meetings.
Meetings will be arranged on a regular basis usually once a half term. We will display the time and date of each meeting on the school notice boards, and letters will be sent home These letters will include information on forthcoming Friends of Pencaerau events and dates plus requests for assistance when needed.
Please help make a difference.
The Friends of Pencaerau is a great way to bring parents, staff and others together to raise money and make a difference for the children. Offering to help with events or at other times during the year is so valuable to us and very much appreciated. If you wish to join the Friends of Pencaerau or if you would like any further information regarding the Friends of Pencaerau please speak to Miss Powell at the school, or 'Friends of Pencaerau' members Julie James and Mari Franks.
